Do you have a list of past BBQ establishments in the L.A. area? One comes to mind, "McClintock's" that was on the corner of 71st and Crenshaw Blvd., opened in the summer of 1967, and was in direct competition with Woody's on Slauson near Crenshaw and Leo's on Crenshaw near Adams. Since closed, as McDonalds bought the block, and the owner, "Big Mac", was seriously injured in a fall in 1973, or so. But, McClintock's was the real deal, and you didn't need BBQ sauce on the ribs, beef, pork or links to taste the real wood flavor.
Any comments?

Wow! Happy Blog birthday. We'll have to go out for BBQ to celebrate (and maybe get a new restaurant review too).

Congratulations on the milestone. I know what you mean - one year in the blogosphere equals ten years in human time. You're almost a teenager!

Keep blogging!
