I located a website, the Firewood Center, that will find you a local firewood dealer. Just put in your zip code, that’s it. This is perfect if you have a large wood burning BBQ, maybe not as practical if you are grilling on Smokey Joe. Unfortunately it doesn’t inform you on which type of woods the dealers carry or the minimum purchase amount (probably somewhere around a quarter or half cord). It’s always best to call before you go and see if they carry any of the BBQ wood that you are looking for… or perhaps have a suggestion on another dealer who might have some in stock.

Can you tell me where to purchase mesquite, hickory, cherry, for barbeque? I live in Teller County Colorado. Thanks!

Hi I was wondering what different types of wood are the best for different types of meats, also is there a way that you can use fruit, (I know it sounds crazy) to add with the wood that will give it a unique flavor.
Thanks

Hello i have many of the types of wood for smoking pork and other barbecue such as cherry, hickory and oak even some persimmon if wanted. I can mail boxes with up to 20 pounds of wood and the price depends on the species of wood.
