I never made it inside for the Autry event. As I was waiting in the admission line, people were coming out and saying to those of us on line that it was a waste of time and money, only one food vendor with a 90 minute line. I was hoping for an event similar to a BBQ streetfare that I stumbled upon in Washington DC a few summers back, can't remember the name but the food was fantastic.

Anyway, I left the Autry line and went to Robin's in Rosemead to chow down. Delicious. It would be nice if LA had a similar event. Also with ample parking, another problem at the Autry. Maybe a bigger venue next time?

Very disappointed! $9.00 entry, no food avalible from the folks in the competition. Huge line for only one food vendor providing "Brazilin style BBQ"

Thanks Steve, make sure that you come by and say hello.

Raul, unfortunately the LA health dept doesn't allow free samples so you might as well stop by the ATM on your way in.

Is the food/samples free too? I'm coming regardless but just in case I need to go to the ATM beforehand.

Good Que'n to you Junkie- I didn't get in, in time this year. This competition sold out as they only have space for 32 teams. I'll be down there watching for you and the "Four Q-BBQ Team" making a walk on stage for an award or two.

Good to have you back on the Blog!
