BBQ lunch hour
I happened to be near JR’s Barbeque yesterday during lunch hour, so I invited my friend, Scosh, to meet me there. The lunch was great, BBQ pork sandwich; minus the super hot BBQ sauce…my mouth was numb for an hour. Don’t get me wrong, I love hot, but this was super-hot. Fortunately they offer three BBQ sauces, hot, medium and mild. I’ll go medium next time.
This brings me to my next thought…how can I go to JR’s for lunch when there are so many other BBQ restaurants out there? Well, I suppose I will get to them all eventually. In the meantime I will link to other blogs that post BBQ restaurant reviews. The New Diner has a review of the Rib Nest, located in Gardena. He states that ribs are some of his favorites in the Los Angeles area.
