Where can I get more info on the Alpine class? Such as time it starts, how long it lasts, etc.. It isn’t listed on the KCBS website. Thanks -

I found that the class was just a start; I didn’t learn anything incredibly new to help with cooking. However, after having judged an actual competition, I did learn more. The class gets you ready, but the problem with stopping there, as a cook, is that it’s an artificial test; the same team does it all, and is trying to intentionally do some things wrong. Seeing real entries at a comp did a lot more for us as cooks, I think, but ya gotta take the class!

Thom, are you cooking BBQ for the class? If that’s the case, I might be convinced to take the judging class again.

Sylvie, you should take the class, then sign up for judging on the following day. It’s well worth it, just for the experience. Don’t worry if other Four-Q team members don’t go, you’ll meet plenty of new BBQ friends
