I have a Big Boy Brazier purchased in 1956. Book included. Motor died yrs. ago Unable to find motor. Replaced same with several different motors and rods of smaller diameter. Still using the grill. have charcoaled thousands of pounds of meat through the years (54). At age 86, I use the grill summer and winter, several times per week.
Would likke to find an original replacement motor.

I have a collection of (indoor) smokeless grills (Farberware, Big Boy, etc.), all in excellent condition. However, my "Big Boy" rotisserie motor just died for good - if anyone knows where I can find another, your help would be appreciated! (broomist@gmail.com)

I have an orange Big Boy Grill. It is in mint condition and looks like it has never been used. It has a bun warmer compartment on top. I was thinking of puting it on ebay and was wondering what it might be worth?

I don't know anything really factual about using Big Boy braziers or wagon grills, but this weekend I picked up at an estate sale a recipe and technique book put out by the Big Boy Manufacturing Co. I did a quick Net search and only found out that there are a lot of used book sellers offering this same book. There might be some interesting things interspersed in the recipes and cleaning tips; I haven't read the whole thing yet. Just curious; how did you happen to find a rare gem like the grill you bought?

Does anyone know anything about the Big Boy Manufacturing Co., formerly located in Burbank? Judging from the avocado green color, I'm guessing the bbq I have was made in late '60s. It also has an electric powered spit. Can't find anything about this grill. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
