BBQ Commercial with an R&B vibe

A little something for your Thursda before lunch. Wish there was a Mr. Spriggs BBQ around here… it’s got me thinking about ribs right now.

    I tried calling in an order, but they’re not in the 949 area code. 213? 310? 323? 818? 626? 805?

Oh, they’re not in the L.A. area? Dammit, no wonder. Junkie, your blog says this is a Los Angeles barbecue odyssey…

Hey, Junkie, I also liked the Mr. Spriggs BBQ promo. Lit a fire in me for some ribs and maybe a brisket sandwich, too, both of which are not in good supply here in SoCal if good is what you’re looking for.
Just the other day I had some pretty sorry warmed up yesterday’s ribs at BBQ King (Figueroa & Ceasar Chavez, LA). I know that I touted the place last year, but this recent visit they dished me the same ho-hum that they served your other commentators. See, BBQJunkie / BBQ Joints.
