BBQ Rub

Getting ready for the 4th of July weekend? Here is a flexible BBQ rub to throw on just about anything. It works epsecially well on BBQ tri-tip. Adjust it to your liking. If you like it spicy add some cayenne pepper, if you like it sweet add a tablespoon of brown sugar. It’s that simple.

1-tablespoon paprika
1-tablespoon salt
1-teaspoon black pepper
1-teaspoon onion powder
1-teaspoon garlic powder
1-teaspoon cumin powder

Mix ingredients together then apply liberally to your meat. Have fun.

I use Magic Dust from a BBQ smoke joint in NY called Blue Smoke. Amazing stuff.
