4th of July BBQ

So much has been going on since my last post… There was Fathers Day, a bunch of graduations, birthdays, the Summer Equinox and now the 4th is this weekend.

Long weekends are perfect for barbecuing, especially now that June gloom has dissipated and our weather has warmed up. I’m currently working on making some rub and sauce and getting ready for the long smoke tonight. There’s nothing like fresh BBQ first thing in the morning.

I’m doing some pork butt, a few racks of spare ribs and a couple of fatties. If you don’t have a smoker, and/or want to try something different a BBQ tri tip may suit your needs.
