Interview with Mike Mills
There is an enlightening interview with Mike Mills, BBQ superstar, posted at You Gonna Eat That. The interview was conducted by Professor Salt and gives you insight into Mike Mills BBQ philosophies. This pit master has won numerous BBQ competitions, is the owner of the Memphis Competition Barbecue restaurant chain, and the co-author of Peace, Love and Barbecue, which Professor Salt also reviews in a separate post. BTW, I am currently reading this book and enjoying every page.
Yes, “Peace,Love&Barbecue” is a GREAT BOOK! As host of a weekly bbq talk show in Portland,OR, I rank it as the best book of the year,maybe last 2 years. Mills is very generous in sharing with us his recipes, and giving the read some very solid advice. Definately needs to be on every barbecuer’s bookshelf….right next to my book, The Great Barbecue Companion. (shameless plug!).
